Solo Contest for Band and Orchestra by Ms. Murray

Would you like to be in orchestra or band next year?  This Saturday, April 13, the band and orchestra members of DIstrict 83 got together at Mannheim Middle School to show off their talents!  Each band and orchestra member played a song for a judge.  There were a lot of judges there!
One student explained how he felt.  "I was nervous," said Daniel.  Eric said, "I was proud," when he finished.
Ezequiel went to support a friend.  "I was happy for my friend," he said.
All students who attended the solo contest got a medal at school on Monday.
