Have you ever heard of a tv channel without commercials? I do. It's my very favorite channel - WTTW channel 11. I love, love, love that I don't have to hear the annoying commercials that play on other channels. I also love that I learn things from channel 11. One of my favorite shows on this channel is called Check Please. It's on at 7:00pm on Tuesdays. They review 3 restaurants a week that are in the Chicagoland area. I've gone to some of the restaurants they recommend, and they've all been unusual and delicious. I learned about a great Indian restaurant on Devon Ave. in Chicago from Check Please. It was so cool to go to that restaurant and see the owners that were on tv and try some of the food that they talked about on the tv show. My favorite news program is also on channel 11 - it's called Chicago Tonight, which is on at 6pm M-F. They give news from around the Chicagoland area and interview important Chicagoans. Check out this awesome, no-commercial channel - you won't be disappointed!
